Terrace Lodge Redevelopment Update - August 2021

The Committee is excited to see the shape of the addition layout taking form in the excavated soil. Attachment I is a photographic tour of this progress as of July. Concrete foundations have been completed and the erection of structural steel has begun.

Staff continue to work with the Ministry on a new Development Agreement. It is anticipated that the province will have the agreement ready for signature in the coming weeks.

The Terrace Lodge Fundraising Committee has reached an exciting milestone in its fundraising campaign. Despite challenges faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Elgin County community has been extremely generous and the Campaign is progressing on schedule. The three (3) year campaign has a goal of raising $675,000. This goal has been divided over three (3) years for an annual goal of $225,000 in 2021. As of July, 50% of this goal has been reached.
